Nintendo Europe posts a safety manual for the Nintendo Switch 2 online today, and while there are many safety precautions for the upgraded Joy-Con controller and new kickstand, what stands out is related to the Nintendo Switch 2 screen.
Nintendo was very clear by warning users that the Nintendo Switch two screens were covered with film layers that should not peel off. This is to prevent screen shattering and is fairly standard on so many technical items.
This is essentially similar to a screen protector, but Nintendo has confirmed that you can place a screen protector on it (same as something like this).
The manual bits say, “The screen is covered with a film layer designed to prevent fragments from scattering in the event of damage. Do not peel it off.”
This also appears to be on Nintendo Switch OLEDs and often applies to TVs and other glass screens, and if it’s damaged, users will be crushed and not harmed.
Nintendo Switch 2 will be released on June 5th. Available on Amazon for $696.

Definitely, for me, the easy brainer is two starter packs.
If protection is what you’re looking for, there are plenty of screen protectors and cases.
There are also many grips and magnetic charging stands I absolutely love:
