Pokemon Company is definitely not anywhere. Pokemon Legends: ZA announced on October 16th that it will be releasing on both the Nintendo Switch and the Nintendo Switch 2.
The Nintendo Switch 2 version has improved graphics and frame rates, and the digital and physical editions of the OG Nintendo Switch version can be upgraded to the Nintendo Switch 2 edition at a later date.
Pokemon Company also announced that the Pokemon Present will be held on July 22nd, featuring a number of new information about Pokemon ZA. This is the earliest Pokemon presents announced almost two months apart.
Pokemon Legend: ZA is set in the Lumious city of X and Y and is experiencing radical change. The game features Chicolita, Tepig and Totodile as starter Pokemon.
Like Pokémon Legends Arceus, the game appears to focus on fighting and exploring open worlds. You can see trainers jumping from roof to roof throughout Lumioth City. Perhaps most exciting is the return of Mega Evolution, the favorite mechanic of the 6th generation of Pokemon games.
