Cyberpunk 2077 Gameplay footage running on the Nintendo Switch 2 4K was released online to show off the impressive power of a handheld device. Running nearly 20 minutes, the video claims to show that the game is running in Quality/Max graphics mode, and is trading high frame rates for presumably higher fidelity.
Given that the game struggles to run on a variety of hardware at launch, it’s breathtaking to see it run smoothly on Nintendo’s upcoming console and look fantastic. Certainly, many steps take over numerous fixes and patches to improve game optimization.
After being announced in the full announcement of the Nintendo Switch 2, it has been revealed that CyberPunk 2077 uses NVIDIA’s DLSS upscaling technology to render the game at low resolution and then upscale it to achieve target framerates. It looks amazing at work!
Everything from lighting to textures, from the sharpness of the image must appear to be believed. The Nintendo Switch 2 actually shows that it can meet the demands of more cross-platform third-party games. That may certainly be the best way to play Cyberpunk 2077 in the future.
