The official trailer has landed for NCIS: Tony & Ziva is the latest spinoff of the long-running NCIS franchise, reuniting Michael Weather and Cote de Pablo as Tony DiNozzo and Ziza David. The 10-episode series will premiere soon on Paramount+ (no official release date yet). Look up.
The show will feature former agents Tony and Ziva who have quietly raised their daughter Tali in Paris. That is until Tony’s security company is attacked and Tali is invited. The pair are forced to team up to track down European perpetrators, and the trailer is teasing, sturdy blending their trademark skills with sharp jokes.
“Do you still hold all that fatal thing in your cookie jar?” Tony asks in one scene. Ziva said, “I leveled it a little bit,” deadpanned. Large weapons have been announced. If the opportunity asks for it, she is clearly ready to arm. Tony can’t help but be impressed.
The show comes from writer/executive producer John McNamara. John McNamara’s television credits include the Magician, Aquarius and Physics. McNamara is on board as a showrunner, with Star serving as Weatherly and DePablo on a team of executive producers.
In a previous statement, Weatherly and DePablo said: “We’ve been talking about this story for many years, and now with John McNamara at the helm, we’re ready. Tony and Ziva (and daughter Tali) promise to be an action-packed roller coaster fueled by love, danger, tears and laughter.”
The cast also includes Isluggies such as Tali, Amitasman, Maximilian Osinski, Julian Ovenden, Nasima Benchkou, Lala Rossi, Terrence Maynard and James Darcy. Filmed earlier this year, Paramount+ confirmed its fall 2025 premiere.
