Nintendo has announced that GameCube games are only coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 with higher resolution graphics. They also announced that they will be releasing a wireless GameCube controller with a new Switch 2 C-Button.
We know when we can order a Nintendo Switch 2 GameCube controller. A pre-order is scheduled for Thursday, April 24th at 6pm at My Nintendo Store. Limited to Nintendo Switch Online members, all games and accessories will rise for pre-orders at the same time, all to be released on June 5th. Prices for Australia have not been revealed yet.

For those who wish to pre-order their Nintendo Switch 2 from the Mynintendo Store, they will open on April 24th, May 5th, and round 3 on May 15th. Order by May 20th.
The Nintendo Switch 2 is not sold out at an Australian retailer (aside from EB Games), but it is likely that Nintendo will enforce these rules in other countries. You can find all the following times:
