After PBS secured North American rights to the animated series, the prehistoric vegetable creatures of Little Media’s inger and Bejar, born, are unleashed in the US.

Created by Gary Eck and Nick O’Sullivan, Ginger and Vegesaurs are in a world where the juicy and freshest creatures rule the planets. Preschool viewers follow Ginger, Young Tricarotops, and her baby pea peas pea mates, Mint, Wasabi and Split.

After debuting in 2022, the series has become available in more than 70 regions, including the UK, and has earned over 48 million views on BBC Iplayer.

Production of Season 4 and Five began in February, with the BBC participating as a commissioning partner alongside ABC.

The episode premiered on PBS Kids and can be streamed on the free PBS app available on iPhone, Apple TV, Android TV, smartphone, Amazon Fire TV, Roku, Samsung and Vizio.

David Webster, founder of the cocky little media, said the company is pleased to have “lovely, very funny creatures” warmly welcomed by children all over the world.

“We are extremely excited to see Vegesaurs join US audiences,” he said.

“At the heart of the show we have some incredible characters exploring a colorful, exciting, heart-filled prehistoric world.”
