The Primitive War teaser trailer is stomped online and gives you a glimpse into what happens when the horrors of war clash with the prehistoric nightmare of teeth. Set during the Vietnam War, the film presents a secret mission that has been turned sideways. Deep in the jungle, the enemies aren’t the only real threat. It’s a dinosaur. Take a look at the trailer above and take a look at the three-minute behind the scenes below.
Based on the novel by Ethan Petus, the film follows Vulture Squad, a reconnaissance unit directed and written by Luke Spark (Professional Rainfall, Takes him to Me), and sent to find the missing Green Beret team. Instead, what they find is far more wild and very live. It’s a wild concept that can create fun and thrilling times.
Jeremy Piven, Tricia Helfer, Ryan Kwanten and Nick Wexler have made headlines for the cast, including Anthony Ingleber, Aaron Grenane, Carlos Sanson Jr., Anna to Nguyen, Albert Mwangi, Adolphus Waley, Henry Nixon, Lincoln Lewis, Jeremy Lewis, Jeremy Lewis, Jeremy Lewis, Jeremy Lewis, and Ryan.
Filmed primarily on the Gold Coast with local crews, the production has already been trapped in theatrical distribution throughout Australia and New Zealand through Rialto. “Primitive Wars are an independent wonder with range, thrills and technical magic to match the characteristics of blockbusting creatures stalking screens in 21st century cinemas,” the distributor said. “Ralato is excited to partner with Ants Luke and his team in this most horrifying and entertaining picture.”
Sparke says that this initial look is nothing more than a bit of what’s in the ambitious film. “This teaser gives us a slight taste of what’s coming to this epic. We’ve been in post-production for almost a year and our amazing artists and teams have been creating something really cool!”
Meanwhile, Petus is heading in the following direction: “I’m excited to see Luke’s interpretation of my work. I know his team is providing everything for this project.”
Primitive Wars is scheduled to be released globally in 2025. Release date announced.
