As it focuses on the original Nintendo Switch games, no announcement about the Nintendo Switch 2 will be made in this presentation, but we know that the original Nintendo Switch games are compatible with the Nintendo Switch 2.

When Nintendo Switch 2 Direct takes place next week, the Nintendo Switch 2 game will be shown, but this year the original Switch has not been revealed much.
So far, the release schedule for the original Nintendo Switch feels very barren. We know that both Pokemon Legends ZA and Metroid Prime 4 are appearing in this, but beyond that, it’s unclear what the future holds for one of Nintendo’s bestselling consoles.
It will be interesting to see how Nintendo fills the year for what will become one of the final years of consoles before Switch 2 was released.
