Before the launch date on March 31st, HBO announced Australian pricing.

Australia has three tiers, all of which will be available in monthly and annual subscription models. Limited time is cheaper. You can get the following prices until April 30th and last for 12 months.

HBO MAX BASIC with ADS Australian prices

Stream to 2 devices at once /Full HD resolution /Advertising

$7.99 per month ($11.99 after entry offer) $79.99 per year ($6.67 per month)

HBO Max Standard Australian Price

Stream to 2 devices/Full HD/30 downloads and no ads

$11.99 per month ($15.99 after admission) $119.99 per year ($9.99 per month)

HBO Max Premium Australian Price

Streaming with 4 devices/4K and Dolby Atmos/100 downloads with Go/No Ads

$17.99 per month ($21.99 after entry offer) $179.99 per year ($14.99 per month)

Is HBO Max content still available on Foxtel?

Yes, it is available through the HBO MAX app (included in Foxtel) with IQ3, IQ4, and IQ4 subscriptions.

Max is included with your Foxtel subscription at no extra charge, so you can continue watching your favorite HBO shows and more! This will be accessible from March 31st via the MAX app for an Internet connection, IQ3, IQ4, or IQ5* set-top box instead of finding an HBO show on its dedicated channel. It’s the same great content. Plus, you can access additional Warner Bros Discovery and HBO content in Max.

Welcome to HBO shows such as Last of Us Season 2 (released on April 14th), as well as Dragon House, Happiness, P-Semy Maker, it: Welcome to Derry.

Not only films like Barbie, Twisters and Bettlejuice, but iconic television shows like Friends, The Big Bang Theory, Rick and Morty also appear on the platform.
