A new Bloomberg report shows analysts and their hardware/software partners who are in regular contact with Nintendo are hoping that Nintendo switch will post a price tag of between 400 and 500 US dollars ($650-$795 aud).
Nevertheless, analysts believe Nintendo Switch 2 is the biggest game release in history (and not so surprising). With over 150 million units sold and the best console ever, it’s no surprise that this will be the biggest release of all time.
Unlike the PS5 and Xbox Series X, both sold out at launch, it’s well known that Nintendo has plenty of stock for its release.
This will be enhanced by the fact that Nintendo is preparing an incredible software lineup with Metroid Prime 4, Pokemon Legends ZA and new Mario Kart games, but third-party support is expected to be there in a big way.
“They will mostly sell Switch 2 boat roads in the first few months regardless of price,” said Serkan Toto, an industry watcher based in Tokyo. “We can expect an incredible software lineup in our first year, from new Mario Kart and 3D Mario in eight years to Pokemon Legend: ZA and Metroid Prime 4. We also have support from day one.
It won’t take long to learn more about the Nintendo Switch 2, which will be held in person at 00:00 AM AEDT on Thursday, April 3rd.
