“Devil May Cry”: Netflix drops an official action-packed trailer for an animated series based on the hit game franchise

The official trailer for Netflix’s upcoming animated series Devil May Cry has arrived and take a look at what appears to be the High Octanian adaptation of Capcom’s beloved video game franchise. Devil Hunter, Motorcycle Sword, Twin Brother Rivals, and of course hit games fans should be careful. The trailer above and the following information.

Based on the franchise created by Kamiya Hiseki, this plot follows Dante, half-human, half-demon hunter. He tends to prefer sharp wit, sharp weapons, and barely notices that the fate of both the human and demonic realm rests on his shoulders. Yes, it’s personal. Dante’s mission is supported by his mother’s death and the revenge of his family’s inheritance immersed in violence. Voice up Dante, Johnny Yong Bosch is an interesting choice, watching him watch another character, Nero (Dante’s ne) in Devil May Cry 4.

The series is led by Adi Shankar, who wears several hats here as creator, showrunner and executive producer. Shankar is also another hit executive producer with adaptation of Netflix animation games you’ve heard of. Castlevania and its sequel Castlevania: Nocturne has been working on this particular project for quite some time. “Don’t worry, we work very hard because we love franchises and want to provide something great,” Shankar told the Netflix site Tudum.

It’s clear that Shankar has great ambitions for this series. He and his development partner, Alex Larsen, have been in the trench with this since it was first announced in 2018. “My goal is to create a period that is one of the best shows on the Netflix platform.”

It is Studio Meer, who was behind Netflix, who brings the devil’s May Cry World to Animation Life. As far as Shankar is concerned, the track record of Korean animation studios “speaks in itself.”

This is an adaptation of the second animated series in the Capcom video game franchise. Japanese anime studio Madhouse delivered the anime series in Devil May Cry: 2007. The 12 episode runs were filled with mixed reactions. Screen Gems had the right to create a live-action film version in 2011, but there was nothing there since.

Devil May Cry will premiere globally on Netflix on April 3rd.
