Apple TV+ has released the official trailer for The Studio, a Hollywood satire comedy series led by Seth Rogen. Check out the trailer above and see more details below.
A dark and funny look at the struggles of Hollywood
The studio offers comedy and what appears to be a bit of a modern film industry. Rogen will star as Matt Remick, the newly appointed head of Continental Studios. Taking care of navigating the corporate greed, chaotic creative and dramatic film-related collapse, Matt and his team try to keep the industry alive.
The trailer highlights Matt’s dilemma, showing that he stepped into power, just as the CEO of the studio played by Brian Cranston led him to the Kool-Aid films into the green light. As Matt tries to balance his film’s passion with the intense demands of studio executives, he soon finds himself spiraling into a fusion of self-loathing and hopeless compromise.
“If it was up to me, we would have focused on making the next baby Rosemary or Annie Hall. Quinn (played by Bodies Bodies Bodies Star Chase Sui Onders) replies, “It turns out that Fervert is going to make a great movie.”
Star-studded ensemble and A-list cameos
Joining Rogen is a strong supporter cast that includes Katherine O’Hara, Kathryn Hearn, Ikebalin Holtz and Chase Swiwanders. The show also boasts major repeat guest stars such as Cranston, Keyla Monterroso Mejia and Dewayne Perkins. And there are many famous cameos: Martin Scorsese, Paul Dano, Charlize Theron, Peter Berg, Nicholas Stoller, Steve Buscemi, Olivia Wilde, Ron Howard, Greta Lee, Ice Cube, and more.

Behind the scenes, the studio is the brainchild of Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Peter Huke, Alex Gregory and Frida Perez, and Lionsgate televisions are being produced. James Weaver, Alex Mcatee and Josh Fagen of Point Gray Pictures are executive producers alongside Rogen and Goldberg.
When will the studio be released?
The studio premiered with a two-episode drop on March 26th, with one episode each week continuing until the May 21st finale.
