Michael Gracie’s Betterman won the AACTA International Award for Best Direction in the Film last week using Australian prizes in the same category.
The Robbie Williams-inspired drama is the most decorated film of the AACTA Industry Gala and the Main Awards, converting nine of the 16 record-breaking nominations.
This is in today’s announcement alongside Nicole Kidman (Best Lead Actress in Baby Girl Movies), Guy Pierce (Best Support Actor in Brutal Films) and Elizabeth Debicki (Best Actor in Crown Series). He was one of the four Australian winners.
