Marvel Studios drops a Super Bowl trailer from Thunderbolts* for a fresh glimpse of the MCU’s new anti-hero team. In addition to the new footage, two new posters have been released (check it out below). Now, the experimental trio behind everything that’s been nominated for the Oscar, Son Lux has confirmed that they’ll be composing the film’s soundtrack.
The trailer leaned against the team’s unsettling dynamics, with Julia Louis Dreyfus’ Valentina Allegra de Fontaine saying “I won’t come” before the Avengers ask “Who will keep Americans safe?” “It makes clear that this is. Valentina’s big plans seem to be much clearer here.
In support of Starship’s Nothing’s Gond Gone To Your Stow Us, the footage highlights the growing tension, especially at Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova. “So…can’t any of us fly? So, are we all just punching and filming?” she asks her team – for example, Thor or Captain Marvel It is a group with different powers and so on. “We can’t do this. No one here is a hero,” she says at the time after the trailer, she was overwhelmed by self-doubt. The Red Guardian of David Harbor said, “Yelena, when I see you, I will not see your mistakes. So we need each other.”
Beyond the team’s struggle, the trailer also offers a clearer glimpse into the film’s main threat. Although specific plot details remain under the wrap, this footage strongly suggests that the main supervillains in this chapter are blank. In the comics at least, the dark and destructive entity, aka Robert Reynolds, who is deeply connected to the Sentry, is played in the film. Lewis Pullman.
The cast includes Sebas Chanstan as Bucky Burns/Winter Soldier, Hannah John Kamen as Avaster/Ghost, Orga Kurylenko as Antonia Drakov/Tasmaster, and Wyatt Russell as John Walker/US Agent. The lineup includes Geraldine Viswanathan, Chris Bauer and Wendell Earrings.
Jake Schreier is best known for Robot & Frank, Paper Towns and the Netflix series Beef, and directs the film. Kevin Feige is produced by Louis Daposito, Brian Chapeck and Jason Tames as executive producers.
Thunderbolts* is scheduled to open in Australian cinemas on May 1st and in US cinemas on May 2nd.
