Owen Wilson and Alan Richson are set to co-stars in the high-stakes action drama (Speed Needs, Valor’s Act, Consumables 4) directed by Scott War. The film is based on a black list script by Tommy White and Miles Hubley, and is preparing for production in Queensland, Australia this March.
Richson (Reacher) stars as Hank Malone, an elite courier tasked with delivering a life-saving organ in a rigorous three-hour window to save the life of a young girl. But the seemingly straightforward mission takes a fatal turn when the ruthless crime syndicate aims to the package. Wilson joins the cast and joins as Ben.
“This pairing (Wilson and Richson) is something that the audience thinks is starving,” Director Scott War said in a statement cited by Deadline, the outlet that broke the news. “And we strive to achieve unexpected things from the page turner scripts delivered by Miles and Tommy.”
The runners’ producer team includes Todd Garner (Broken Road Productions), Ritchson (Allycat Entertainment), Dan Spilo (Industry Entertainment), and Mark Fasano (Nickel City Pictu res), Jeffrey Greenstein (A Highter Standard), Deborah Glover (G2 Dispatch) Includes: Lauren Gennawey of Broken Road Productions will be executive produced.
Richson is busy, wrapping up Netflix’s War Machine and currently works with Arnold Schwarzenegger on the holiday comedy The Man With Bag. He also launched Prime Video on February 20th and has a third season of Reacher. Meanwhile, Wilson has the Apple TV+ Golf Comedy series Rambler, released later this year and is currently working on the comedy feature Rolling Loud. .
