The new patent appears to have revealed a bunch of new Nintendo Switch 2 information to confirm the rumoured mouse mode, but it appears to have a new charging dock that appears to take advantage of the same features and new magnetic snapping capabilities We will also be showing off a new professional controller that looks like this.
Joy-Con patent says the improved Joy-Con controller has “front, top, first side, second side surface, directional input unit, first top button and sensor.” . Mouse operation. “The mouse movement sensor detects light reflected from the detected surface.” This is exactly how a mouse works.

Interestingly, the patent continues to showcase a pro controller that appears to be split into two to have the same mouse function. Technology is on a large scale and it would be interesting to see.
In so surprising news, the patent also unveils a new Joy-Con Charging stand that lets the Joy-Con controller magnetically stand upright on the charger.
It makes sense that Nintendo patents this so heavily. Clearly, PC handhelds are a much bigger deal than they were a decade ago. This innovative technology stays at home.
