Lenovo announced three new Lenovo Legion GO handhelds yesterday, with Australian release dates for two and a price now available.
Lenovo releases two Lenovo Legion Go S handhelds. Both use the Z2 Go chip, have non-removable controls (like the original Legion Go) and a small 8-inch 120hz display.
The white Lenovo Legion Go S runs Windows 11 on a Ryzen Z2 Go or Z1 Extreme chip with up to 32GB of 7500 DDR5 RAM and 55.5wh battery life. This version will be released in Australia in January, priced at AU$1,299.
The black Lenovo Legion Go S is the first to come with SteamOS. This means you’ll run and launch with the exact same UI as Steam Decks right out of the box, and have full access to your Steam Deck library and native cloud saves.
This version will be released in Australia in May 2025, and while local pricing hasn’t been confirmed yet, it’s priced at US$499 (~AU$804), so it should be cheaper than the white version of Windows 11.
Pricing for the Lenovo Legion GO 2, which features an OLED display and new AMD Z2 Extreme processor, has not yet been confirmed, but should be announced in the coming months.
