Although the PS5 Pro doesn’t have a special intro and nothing seems to have changed from a UI standpoint aside from a few settings, you’ll notice almost immediately that there’s a new PS5 Pro background in the new Welcome Hub. I did. Looks like it will be console-only.
The new backgrounds incorporate heaps of color just like the first trailer for the PS5 Pro and appear to feature what I’m assuming is the custom chip found in the PS5 Pro, which is really cool It’s a touch. PlayStation PSSR is clearly going to be a big part of PlayStation’s DNA going forward.
