Attention all Venom fans: The third and final film in Sony’s trilogy, Venom: The Last Dance, hit screens yesterday. Oscar-nominated and BAFTA-winning actor Tom Hardy reprises his role as Venom/Eddie Brock.

The long-awaited fifth installment of Sony’s Spider-Man universe finds Hardy’s Venom and Eddie on the run from their respective enemies and secret mastermind organizations. The plot is rumored to be relatively similar to previous films Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021) and Marvel’s Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021).
Hardy, who also co-wrote the film and brought his love for the character to the film, read a review in Collider. “The Last Dance is undoubtedly the most effectively entertaining film in the trilogy.” “There are also some emotional beats between Eddie and Venom that work well throughout, even within the absurd scenarios they tackle.”
