The 2025 Ones to Watch cohort will benefit from the experience of leading some of the country’s leading production companies, with Screen Producers Australia (SPA) today announcing the initiative’s leaders.
Representatives from Princess Pictures, Ringo Pictures, Werner Productions, Magpie Pictures, Northern Pictures and more will guide participants through a range of professional development opportunities, including a series of customized webinars designed to strengthen their creative, commercial and strategic skills for Screen Forever 40.
They will also be eligible to apply for Ones To Watch Screen Placement supported by Screen Australia. The program offers up to $20,000 in referrals to production companies around the world.
SPA CEO Matthew Diener said the program continues to be “one of the most important pathways for emerging producers to develop their technology, expand their business capabilities and deepen their understanding of the industry.”
“Each year, our leaders demonstrate incredible generosity and leadership by sharing their time, insights and experiences,” he said.
“Their support will help ensure Australia’s next generation of screen storytellers are set up for long-term success.
“The Class of 2025 will once again have the opportunity to learn directly from the nation’s most respected producers and industry leaders. The mentorship period will be transformative for many participants, providing confidence, clarity, and connections that will impact their careers for years to come.”
